Prayer generally
MP3 files to help with timing silent prayer:
I adapted these from Jim Finley’s practice on the podcast Turning to the Mystics. Add two minutes for the wrapper: beginning with “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46.10), and end with a bell, the Lord’s Prayer and an invocation of Mary and two of the mystics alongside whom we pray. Finley explains the time of sitting further in this episode turning to Thomas Merton.
