Sorry for the bad pun!
I’m looking forward to piloting “Minecraft Climate Quest” at the ExIST STEAMM Show, an interactive exhibition of commercial, research and creative projects from the south west which combine arts, sciences and technology.
I’ll be exhibiting alongside other innovators, artists and institutions from across the region, including Kaleider, the South West Creative Technology Network, FabLab Devon, Plymouth College of Art and University of Plymouth’s i-DAT research lab.
ExIST is the Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology, a sub-group of Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry which aims to support local science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) businesses, increase awareness, build relationships, and encourage investment. STEAMM explores how the creative arts and STEMM skills can be combined.
The event will be held at the Exeter School of Art at Exeter College. During the day, it will be open to primary schools and students from the College. There will also be an evening reception featuring thought-provoking short talks from a range of speakers about the importance of combining different disciplines and the value of creative industries to the region. I understand festive refreshments will be provided. Tickets are available at bit.ly/ExISTDEC2019.
