This was a follow-up project to my consultancy work in 2009/10 on energy and climate change work in Exeter Diocese, to analyse progress based on evidence from Archdeacons’ Articles of Enquiry, and write a report for presentation at Diocesan Synod.
During 2010-11, I lived alongside Mucknell Abbey, a mixed Benedictine community in the Church of England. Early in the period, the community moved in to their new eco-monastery. I supported them in establishing a pattern of sustainable living, which included creating a series of articles and factsheets about Sustainability on their website.
The purpose of the project in 2009-10 was to trial an Environment Officer post in Exeter Diocese, to support church organisations in implementing recommendations of energy audits, and to undertake other activities supporting the Church of England’s Shrinking the Footprint programme.
Reports written as part of my work at the Met Office during 2000-01 on modelling and forecasting low cloud, that were subsequently released online.
Reports written as a consultant at Cambridge Econometrics during 1995-2000, that were subsequently published. Variously on modelling the Chinese economy, the UK electricity supply industry, renewables and energy efficiency, and meeting climate targets.
