“Let’s do something nice today” for “Get On Board 50”

Studio 36 is presided over by the formidable Veronica Gosling, a fount of mad artwork and ideas. Since Covid hit she has had a wonderful noticeboard out front, hosting a continually changing work, mainly by visual artists in Newtown and St Leonard’s. The first of my poems that appeared was “Think chair” for “Get On Board 39”, and she asked me to send another one for the Big 50. I picked something celebratory, dedicated to David & Sue and all the others with whom I have done ‘something nice’, and had a go at drawing with a computer mouse.
