If you can’t make art, make a bug hotel

I haven’t been getting round to making art recently. Which isn’t to say I haven’t been creative. I’m still making websites. It’s the time of year to sow seeds, prick out, pot on, and see the garden grow.

I also have a number of bird boxes waiting to be pressed into use as installations of “Listening to Silent Spring”, or indeed as bird boxes. One of them was a bit badly put together and battered. So I deconstructed it, sawed it up, and made a couple of bug hotels out of it instead. Here’s the first one, ready to go out.
