Five “Little colouring books” went to market!

I’ve finally finished my fourth and fifth “Little colouring books of climate mindfulness”. It’s been six months since I first got my hands on the pilot booklet of “Winter Blues”.

Over the summer, I added “Summertime” (of course) and “Middle Course”, and now you can also get hold of “Grandchildren” and “Worst Case” – please get in touch if you would like to purchase any.

What’s in each booklet? Because the UK Climate Projections are so multi-dimensional, I had the choice of cutting the projections in many different ways to fill the 14 A6 pages excluding covers:

  • Scenarios for how much carbon we will continue to emit
  • Levels of probability, eg 10% or ‘very unlikely to be less than’, 33% or ‘unlikely to be less than’, to 90% ‘very unlikely to be greater than
  • Periods of time in the future, eg 2020s, 2050s, 2080s.
  • Times of the year, eg spring, summer, autumn, winter, all year
  • Locations in the UK, eg regions, 25km grid squares
  • Variables, eg temperature, precipitation, cloud cover, humidity
  • Variable measures, eg mean, mean daily maximum and minimum, extremes, absolute value or difference from long-term mean

Here’s what I came up with.
